Duncannon is located on the Wexford/Hook Peininsula Estuary,The
Beach long south facing,The beach is top location,Prevailing southerly winds
are on shore which can give varying conditions depending on tide state,If it
is at mid tide, then you can get a couple of hours in 3-5 feet water.U can
walk out of 200M and the water level stays the same!When the tide is out,
the water's edge is very close to deep water & strong currents.Best times
are midtide>full tide>midtide!when the tide is out there is a whole lot of
beach to buggy with!lots of room on the beach to set up!and has being a blue
flag beach for the last 12 out of 13yrs! Two nice seafood pubs beside beach
and beautiful resturaunts!
